Toast Valentines’ Day during two sweet weekends with someone special; or round up a few friends for a fun valentines’ adventure. Enjoy weekend days on the wine trail sampling sumptuous chocolates and confections paired with featured wines of the region. Visit each of the 11 participating wineries along the Berks County Wine Trail to fall in love with your favorite pairing combo.
This unique wine trail sprawls through lovely Eastern Pennsylvania countryside, rich with scenic Winter landscapes. You can plan your weekend on the wine trail by mapping out your own self-guided tour of these wineries. Great opportunity to make a romantic getaway weekend out of your visit…particularly now that there are two weekends to love. Event will take place Noon to 5 PM all four days.

Deerfoot Winery (Shoemakersville) – 2022 – Our new Chardonnay will be paired with Caramel Crisp chocolates from Russel Stover, and the Explorer Port will be paired with Maple Walnut fudge for those who prefer something sweeter. If that’s not enough, we will also have two gourmet chocolates from John and Kiras paired with two additional wines as an add-on option until sold out.
Stone Barn Cellars (Spring City) – 2022 – Celebrate the day with us! Stone Barn Cellars will be serving our own Raspberry Cheesecake Brownie paired with Wildman Red, a light red wine with just a touch of aging in American oak barrels.
Manatawny Creek Winery (Douglassville) – 2022 – Chocolate Port Cake with Port Buttercream Icing paired with our Cabernet Franc Port. A sensory adventure for any wine & chocolate lover!
Kog Hill Winery (Morgantown) – 2020 – Info to come.
Long Trout Winery (Auburn) – 2022 – This stop is a wine- & chocolate-lover’s dream where Chocolate wines are paired with a tasty assortment of home-made desserts! Imaginatively named Chocolate wines include Mixed Berry, Strawberry, Cherry, Pear, and Orange flavors. Together with the decadent dessert features, the hardest part is choosing a favorite!
Setter Ridge Vineyards– 2022 – Stop by Setter Ridge Vineyards and enjoy Red Wine Infused
Fudgy Chocolate Cake Truffles! Enjoy wine in the dessert and on the side. We’ll be pairing them with your choice of our dry Three Sisters or our semi-sweet Setter Ridge Red.
Stoudt’s Winery (Shartlesville) – 2020 – Info to come.
Stonekeep Meadery – (Fleetwood) – 2022 – Stonekeep Meadery will be pairing our semi sweet Pea Pod Pixie with chocolate covered Pretzels.
Lily’s Winery & Vineyard -2022- Our wine will be Lily’s Vineyard Cherry wine with a chocolate rim, dry & sweet. Our food pairing will be Cherry, Cheese Brownie Bites.
Ridgewood Winery (Birdsboro) – 2022 – Ridgewood will be pairing mini chocolate cupcakes with peanut butter or raspberry icing paired with our underground and merlot wines.

Please note that several of the wineries do charge a nominal fee for tastings from their complete wine list. Tasting fees, depending upon winery, are either refundable with purchase of a bottle of wine or include a keepsake wine tasting glass.
